These Mini Acoustic Travel Guitars are often called
Guitarleles. Essentially a Guitarlele is like putting a capo on the 5th fret of
a guitar. It is then tuned to A with the strings being tuned to A-D-G-C-E-A.
The great thing about these instruments is that they are really small and
portable, as they are about the size of a tenor ukulele. These guitars are for
everyone, just because they are small doesn't mean that they are for children.
They can be used by all people and players of all ages and abilities. Unlike
the small guitars for kids, these guitars are tunable and playable. These
guitars come with Aquila Strings and have a classical style nut and slotted
peghead. However, they can be used by people who play electric, acoustic or classical. And these are ideal instruments for children who would like to learn on a better quality instrument.
